3rd Shift Machine Operator

Description
Utilization of metal manufacturing equipment to manufacture and assemble components per supplied drawings and specifications. The use of precision measuring equipment is used in performance of this job function. Basic blueprint reading and knowledge of shop math will be used daily. Continuous training is provided on the handling of hazardous chemicals that may be used in this job.
Responsibilities
Precision machine operating responsibilities.
Basic blueprint reading and shop math.
Tests and calibrates components and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
The use and operation of fabrication equipment in work centers such as grinding, honing, passivation, assembly and test, lathes, mills, and heat treat.
Identifies product that fail tests or tolerance levels and may repair as necessary.
Observing established safe working/housekeeping procedures and promptly correctly and/or notifying supervisor of hazardous situations.
Perform changeover of tools, fixtures and test setups.
All supplemental duties, responsibilities, or non-essential requirements as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma/GED required.
No experience required; 1 - 3 years preferred.
Ability to produce a quality part at a productive rate.
Work in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork.
Physical Demand:
While performing duties may be required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist or lift.
May be required to work more than 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week based on departmental needs.
Working Environment:
Office and manufacturing environment.
May be exposed to manufacturing plant conditions and elements including but not limited to noise, dust, dirt, oil, and grease.
PPE's may be required including safety glasses, ear plugs and safety shoes in specified areas of the plant.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
